The Rubik's Cube is a three-dimensional puzzle designed by Erno Rubik. It was released
in 1980, and has steadily become a cultural icon around the world. Since its release,
numerous other twisty puzzles have been released, including but not limited to: the 2x2x2,
the 4x4x4, 5x5x5, square-1, and skewb.

Speedcubing is the the sport of competetive Rubik's Cube solving, which is administered by the
World Cube Association, or the WCA.
